Jeff is the Founder and Managing Director of AVANCE Advisory.
He is a senior corporate adviser with more than 25 years’ experience across government and stakeholder relations, policy, regulatory affairs, corporate strategy and law.
Jeff has held senior executive and advisory roles in Australian and multinational companies, leading government and stakeholder relations, regulatory, policy and sustainability functions. In these roles, he routinely engaged with state and federal politicians, government agencies, regulators, statutory authorities and industry to navigate regulatory change, shape policy and manage risk.
His experience spans energy and infrastructure, including critical infrastructure, sustainable technologies, AI and emerging technologies, with a focus on complex political, policy and regulatory issues.
Jeff also co-founded and grew a digitisation and sustainable technologies company in the UK through a period of significant economic, political and market disruption.
Earlier in his career, Jeff practised as a barrister at the private bar and served as a Principal Federal Prosecutor (Commercial).
